Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end B2B/EDI integration architecture using Seeburger BIS, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

  • Define and enforce integration standards, guidelines, and best practices across development teams.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and design validations for integration projects.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust integration solutions.

  • Lead and mentor Seeburger developers to ensure solution consistency and adherence to architectural principles.

  • Architect and implement partner onboarding frameworks and communication channels (AS2, SFTP, OFTP2), ensuring secure data exchange.

  • Design and implement error handling, monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms for integrations.

  • Evaluate and recommend Seeburger upgrades, patches, and product enhancements.

  • Drive Seeburger-to-Cloud migration initiatives, Managed File Transfer (MFT) strategies, and hybrid integration models.

  • Integrate Seeburger with backend systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or custom applications using APIs, IDocs, and DB connectors.

  • Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant integration implementations.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Seeburger BIS/BIC platforms, including architectural and leadership roles.

  • Expertise in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms) and data transformation formats (XML, JSON, CSV).

  • Strong experience in designing mapping logic and workflows using .seemap, Groovy, XSLT, and JavaScript.

  • In-depth knowledge of Seeburger communication adapters and protocols (AS2, OFTP2, FTP/SFTP, HTTPS).

  • Experience integrating enterprise applications, including SAP (IDoc, RFC), Oracle, Salesforce, or other platforms.

  • Proven track record in leading integration platform upgrades, partner migrations, and managing high-volume transaction processing.

  • Strong understanding of cloud integration patterns, hybrid integration models, and MFT solutions.

  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, version control (Git), and CI/CD for integration deployments.

  • Experience in performance tuning, designing high-availability architectures, and disaster recovery planning for integration platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with API Gateway, ESB, iPaaS tools, or microservices architecture.

  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, banking) with adherence to compliance standards.

  • Seeburger certifications (Developer, Integration Architect, Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
