Graduation in Computer Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience
5 + years professional experience in Configuration Management development, CI Discovery, and CMDB integrations, with a specific focus on ServiceNow CMDB
Ability to troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, ITAM database structures, and CMDB.
Proficiency in data management, and process enhancement.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB concepts and configuration.
Detailed understanding of the broad range of Infrastructure concepts related to networking, server, cloud, database, storage, etc.
Experience with performance analysis, monitoring, and tuning
Experience with scripting for automation
Excellence in developing secure solutions at an enterprise level
Knowledge of using Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems
Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals
Understanding of DevOps concept, as well as Agile and Lean methodologies
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to providing outstanding customer service on the daily basis.
Provide contribution for designing, building, implementing, and administrating the automated tools and scripts used for asset management platforms related with the discovery and visibility of software and hardware
Creation and maintenance of documentation associated with Asset Management tools and services
guide the business partners, security resources, and IT staff regarding the new initiatives are introduced to the business
Generation of innovative approaches and solutions for discovering principles and applicable stakeholder requirements
Must have experience with CMDB implementation, administrative handling, discovery and maintenance while also collaborating with the internal teams
Maintain the integrity if the CMDB
Be passionate about discovery, asset management, and information security, and conduct research on current PaaS solutions
Configuring and maintaining reconciliation, normalization, administering CMDB, and establishing integrations with data sources when required.
Provide recommendations for data standardization/normalization processes according to the data and requirements to make sure that data is effectively imported and maintained in a CMDB
Promoting the implementation of best practices for Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis of incidents for identifying solutions, and issue mitigation
Provide the highest level of customer service across the array of technology partners
Uphold Architecture/Design standards
Participation in system quality assurance and consistency in following installation and security policies and standards
Participate in department on-call rotation
Provide operational support on the daily basis, help in license management, and carry out maintenance for all products on the platform
Analyze the problems in order to find solutions for technical issues
Support the creation of custom reports/dashboards
Staying up to date with the latest releases, product enhancements, and plugins.
Attend the courses provided by ServiceNow to stay up-to-date.
Ability to implement Service Catalog, CMS, MID Server, Integrate with LDAP, and other applications external to ServiceNow
Should be able to articulate with CMDB classes for assets, their relationship and dependencies and data dictionary.
Comfortable in scripting and coding discovery probes and sensors for discovery.
