Job Description:

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Technical Competency:-


  • Hands-on Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Greenfield Implementation.
  • Customization and Implementation of Incident Management, Problem
    Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or
    Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent
  • Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with
    approved design plans
  • Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance
    testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using
    JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to
    and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively
  • Worked with and understands the value of creating repeatable
    processes to design development, test, staging and production
    environments that are reliable with high availability
  • Must have ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification (ITSM)
    and ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
  • Should possess knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL/industry standards
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical
    audiences (verbal and written)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratively
  • Participate and provide feedback


  • Define/Design Solution for the implementation & Maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
  • Work with customers for the technical requirements, document them, playback and baseline
  • Take on the most difficult development/implementation tasks and do it on time.
    Lead and guide a team of ServiceNow developers, web designers, integration SMEs and QA analysts to build and deploy the applications meeting the customer requirements.
    Perform Sprint activities (if agile) with the customer and the team:
  • Advise Best Practices and provide technical solutions and/or workaround for the issues/requirements
  • Track and share the status of sprint/user stories with the Project Manager
  • Identify and manage risks and challenges
  • Ensure the quality deployment of the product as per the design
  • Ensure the security, and resilience of the components as per the design
  • Evaluate and identify the opportunities for continuous improvement in Delivery and/or in DesignMust be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
  • Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
  • Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required
  • Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide any required training to the users on the user stories
